Mr. Speaker:

Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 31

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 13, after "APPROPRIATION" insert a period and strike the remainder of the line.

2. On page 1, line 19, strike "2009" and insert in lieu thereof "2010".

3. On page 1, lines 20 and 21, strike "eighteen million dollars ($18,000,000) and insert in lieu thereof "twenty million dollars ($20,000,000)".

4. On page 2, line 17, after "in" strike the remainder of the line and strike line 18 through "($9,000,000)" and insert in lieu thereof:

"an amount equal to four and one-half times the amount of bonds issued pursuant to this section, including the amount of bonds proposed to be issued for that fiscal year,".

5. On page 2, line 19, strike "for expenditure in that fiscal year".

6. On page 2, line 22, strike "2011" and insert in lieu thereof "2012".

7. On page 3, line 1, strike "2009" and insert in lieu thereof "2010".

8. On page 3, lines 1 and 2, strike "be void" and insert in lieu thereof "expire".

9. On page 3, strike Sections 2 and 3 in their entirety.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
