SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 566 proposes to create the air service assistance program to assist airlines in establishing regional air service for small communities to hub airports. It would send a distribution equal to .046 percent fro the General Fund to the State Aviation Fund.
The distribution is to be credited to the state aviation fund. The income in the state aviation fund is to be appropriated to the division (Aviation Division at the State Highway Department).
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
According to the Taxation and Revenue Department this bill would result in the transfer of $545.0 fro the General Fund to the State Aviation Fund. This impact would end in FY2004.
