Synopsis of Bill
This bill appropriates $180.0 to the Board of Regents of Eastern New Mexico University to develop and offer a baccalaureate degree program in social work.
Significant Issues
According to the CHE, the project proposed in this bill was ranked as the highest priority in the special project request made by the institution.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $180.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund for expenditure in fiscal years 2000 and 2001. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY2001 shall revert to the general fund.
ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS
The funding proposed in this bill would be used to hire 2.5 FTE.
