SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
The bill would add "a facility for the direct sales by growers of agricultural products, commonly known as farmers' markets" to the list of qualifying entities under the Local Economic Development Act (Sections 5-10-1 through 5-10-13 NMSA 1978).
Significant Issues
The bill would allow facilities for farmers' markets to receive direct or indirect assistance from local or regional governments as economic development projects.
