SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 774 would amend Section 66-5-39 NMSA 1978 to increase the mandatory period of incarceration for a person who drives while their license is suspended or revoked for driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs. Minimum sentences will be increased from seven days to six months.
