Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 631 would amend various sections of the Liquor Control Act. The bill would prohibit nonresident licensees, who bill less than $50,000 annually, from receiving a prorated license fee pursuant to the terms of the existing statute.
Significant Issues
Under existing statute, nonresident license fees are prorated according to the date the license was granted.
