SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
This bill appropriates $100.0 to the Board of Regents of the University of New Mexico for the College of Education to provide entrepreneurship education instruction and other related life skills training to elementary and secondary public school teachers throughout the state.
Significant Issues
According to the CHE, the project proposed in this bill was not included in the special project request made by the institution and UNM's College of Education is unaware of its purpose.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $100.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY00 shall revert to the general fund.
