SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 172 appropriates provides a general fund appropriation to LGD for cash match to obtain the federal community development block grant to extend sewer lines in Questa for expenditure in FY2000.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The bill makes a general fund appropriation of $50.0 to LGD for expenditure in FY2000. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY2000 reverts to the general fund.
OTHER SUBSTANTIVE ISSUES
According to LGD, the village of Questa currently has a Community Development Block Grant for water and sewer improvements for $300.0 which requires a 5% cash match of $15.0.
