STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO ATHLETIC FACILITIES IN CHAVES, SANDOVAL AND DONA ANA COUNTIES.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to plan, design and construct phase I of the Cielo Grande aquatic complex in Roswell in Chaves county; and

two hundred twenty thousand dollars ($220,000) to continue with phase III improvements to the Cielo Grande soccer complex in Roswell in Chaves county;

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

one million one hundred two thousand nine hundred dollars ($1,102,900) to plan, design and construct a New Mexico soccer tournament complex at the pueblo of Santa Ana in Sandoval county; and

• to the state department of public education

three million dollars ($3,000,000) to complete construction of Las Cruces high school sports complex and stadium in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county.
