FOR VARIOUS CAPITAL PROJECTS IN SENATE DISTRICT 7.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the governing board of Mesa technical college

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to plan, design, construct, equip and furnish a dinosaur museum at Mesa technical college in Tucumcari in Quay county;

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

thirty-eight thousand six hundred dollars ($38,600) for improvements to the cooperative extension service at the livestock research center in Clayton in Colfax county;

sixty-three thousand dollars ($63,000) for completion of a service youth organization, incorporated multipurpose center in Raton in Colfax county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) for a truck for the public works department in Eagle Nest in Colfax county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to plan, design and construct a recreational facility in the town of Clayton in Union county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to renovate the old national guard armory in the town of Clayton in Union county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to plan, design, construct and equip a combination burn house tower and classroom training area in Raton in Colfax county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to plan, design and construct an addition to the convention center in Raton in Colfax county;

four hundred seventy thousand four hundred five dollars ($470,405) to renovate public offices in the village of Des Moines in Union county;

one hundred five thousand dollars ($105,000) to plan, design, construct and equip an addition to the public library in the town of Springer in Colfax county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for the Arch Hurley conservancy district, to replace a grader, two mowers and a tractor in Tucumcari in Quay county;

thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) to purchase and install playground equipment for Springer park in Colfax county;

sixty-one thousand four hundred dollars ($61,400) to make improvements to the agricultural experiment station at the livestock research center in Clayton in Colfax county;

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to plan, design, construct and equip an addition to the community center in Roy in Harding county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan, design, construct and equip an addition to the county annex in Mosquero in Harding county;

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to purchase fire and rescue equipment for the volunteer fire department in Conchas Dam in San Miguel county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to plan, design and construct a multipurpose building for the golden spread coalition in Colfax in Union county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for improvements to the Vietnam veterans national memorial in the village of Angel Fire in Colfax county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for improvements to the fire station in Grady in Curry county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to re-roof the county detention center in Quay county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to plan, design and construct a youth community center in the town of Springer in Colfax county;

to the state department of public education

thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) for equipment for the vocational agriculture building for Mosquero municipal schools in Harding county; and

to the office of the state engineer

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to purchase and install pipe for use in the Antelope Valley irrigation district near the town of Springer in Colfax county.
