FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE CITY OF GRANTS IN CIBOLA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state highway and transportation department

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for road improvements on First street, Second street and Roosevelt avenue in the city of Grants in Cibola county;

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to make improvements to the Washington street tennis courts in the city of Grants in Cibola county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to complete the Riverwalk park with the addition of handrails and equipment in the city of Grants in Cibola county;

one hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000) to plan, design, construct and acquire property for a children's park at the Riverwalk park in the city of Grants in Cibola county;

two hundred twenty thousand dollars ($220,000) for phase I construction for a new city hall building in Grants in Cibola county;

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to upgrade and improve restrooms at the fire station on Wayne street, to comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 in the city of Grants in Cibola county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to renovate certain areas of the New Mexico mining museum in the city of Grants in Cibola county; and

one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) to purchase and renovate the economic development building in the city of Grants in Cibola county; and

to the office of the state engineer

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to acquire four hundred acre feet of water rights for the city of Grants in Cibola county.
