REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE TOWN OF ESTANCIA IN TORRANCE COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

one million eight hundred twenty-three thousand dollars ($1,823,000) to engineer, acquire property, extend sewer lines, install a lift station and upgrade the existing treatment plant in Estancia in Torrance county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to equip the Estancia volunteer fire department in Torrance county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for vehicles and computers for the police department in Estancia in Torrance county; and

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to renovate the Estancia community building and administrative offices, a historic treasure built by the works progress administration in Estancia in Torrance county.
