REQUESTED BY

FOR CHANGING THE PURPOSE OF A SEVERANCE TAX BOND APPROPRIATION TO PLAN, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT A SENIOR AND HEAD START FACILITY AND PLAN, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT A TRIBAL ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AT THE PUEBLO OF SAN ILDEFONSO IN SANTA FE COUNTY.

The severance tax bond proceeds appropriated to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs pursuant to Subsection N of Section 18 of Chapter 118 of Laws 1998 to plan, design, construct or equip a solid waste facility at San Ildefonso pueblo in Santa Fe county shall not be used for that purpose but are appropriated to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs in the following amounts for the following purposes:

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to plan, design and construct phase I of the new senior and head start facility at the pueblo of San Ildefonso; and

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to plan, design and construct a new tribal administration building at the pueblo of San Ildefonso.

Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the severance tax bonding fund.
