44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN LEA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

two hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($225,000) for security equipment at the county courthouse in Lea county;

ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) to renovate community centers in Lea county;

eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) to plan, design and construct additions to the cultural center in Lea county; and

six hundred fifty thousand dollars ($650,000) to plan, design and construct a livestock facility in Lea county.
