REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN COLFAX COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state agency on aging

six thousand dollars ($6,000) to purchase and install recreation equipment for the senior program in Eagle Nest in Colfax county;

twenty-two thousand dollars ($22,000) to purchase a van for the senior program in Eagle Nest in Colfax county; and

one hundred ninety-five thousand four hundred seventy dollars ($195,470) to plan, design and construct an addition to the senior center in Cimarron in Colfax county;

• to the department of environment

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for water and sewer improvements in Maxwell in Colfax county;

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for water improvements at Soaring Eagle subdivision in Eagle Nest in Colfax county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to design, construct and inspect water and sewer improvements in Eagle Nest in Colfax county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to plan, design and construct a new water treatment plant in the town of Springer in Colfax county; and

seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for a wastewater treatment plant in the village of Angel Fire in Colfax county;

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to improve the park and recreation equipment in Maxwell in Colfax county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to purchase a heavy equipment vehicle for the public works department in Eagle Nest in Colfax county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to construct a burn house, tower and training area for the Raton fire and emergency service in Colfax county; and

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to plan and design a year-round multipurpose facility in the town of Springer in Colfax county; and

• to the state department of public education

one hundred ninety thousand dollars ($190,000) to renovate and upgrade playground and athletic facilities for Springer municipal schools in Colfax county.
