44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN CURRY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

six hundred seventy-one thousand dollars ($671,000) to surface and improve Curry county road 17, Curry county road 3 and Curry county road 9 in Curry county;

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) to purchase equipment, install and improve the Curry county courthouse security system in Clovis in Curry county;

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to design and construct improvements to the Curry county juvenile detention center in Clovis in Curry county; and

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to design, construct, furnish and equip, including repair of electrical systems, several buildings on the Curry county fairgrounds in Clovis in Curry county.
