REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE TOWN OF LAKE ARTHUR IN CHAVES COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

ninety-one thousand eight hundred dollars ($91,800) to plan, design, construct and establish bar-ditches to Kansas avenue from Broadway to Third street; Broadway street from Virginia to Wyoming; Virginia avenue from Broadway to Eighth street; Eighth street from Pennsylvania to Virginia; Ninth street from Main to Pennsylvania; and Sixth street from Kansas to Nevada street in the town of Lake Arthur in Chaves county;

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

forty-eight thousand five hundred dollars ($48,500) to make improvements by installing a new heating and cooling system, replacing and reinstalling aluminum siding, replacing windows and insulating the police officer quarters in the town of Lake Arthur in Chaves county; and

two hundred sixty-eight thousand dollars ($268,000) to plan, engineer, construct and acquire property for a fire station in the town of Lake Arthur in Chaves county.
