FOR A REAUTHORIZATION TO CHANGE PURPOSE TO PURCHASE ANIMAL CONTROL

VEHICLES AND CONSTRUCT SHERIFF SUBSTATIONS IN VALENCIA COUNTY.



The authorization for severance tax bonds pursuant to Subsection KKKKK of Section 10 of

Chapter 118 of Laws 1998 for planning and designing the Valencia county hospital is void. The state

board of finance may issue and sell severance tax bonds pursuant to Section 1 of this act in an amount not

to exceed one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) and the proceeds are appropriated to the

local government division of the department of finance and administration to be expended as follows:



twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase two animal control vehicles in Valencia county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan, design, construct and equip a sheriff substation to serve the east mesa and valley residents of Valencia county; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan, design, construct and equip a sheriff substation at the southern end of Valencia county.
