MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE OFFICE OF INTERNATIONAL TECHNICAL COOPERATION AT THE LATIN AMERICAN INSTITUTE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for operation of the office of international technical cooperation at the Latin American institute at the university of New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
