MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE RIO GRANDE HIGH SCHOOL CLUSTER HUMAN SERVICES COLLABORATIVE IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred fifty thousand dollars ($550,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of increasing and expanding school-based human services to school children and their families in the fourteen school areas of the Rio Grande high school cluster human services collaborative in Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
