AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE HIGH VALUE SPECIALTY CROP PROGRAM AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of increasing the support for the high value specialty crop program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
