AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES FOR PERSONS WITH SPINAL CORD INJURIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs to be expended in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of contracting to provide services for people with spinal cord injuries in northwestern New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
