Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 12, strike "MAKING AN APPROPRIATION;".

2. On page 1, line 18, strike "UNDERPRIVILEGED" and insert in lieu thereof "SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO".

3. On page 2, line 3, strike "underprivileged" and insert in lieu thereof "southern New Mexico".

4. On page 2, line 3, strike "from" and insert in lieu thereof "the value of".

5. On page 2, line 20, strike the quotation mark.

6. On page 2, between lines 20 and 21, insert the following subsection:

"F. Participants who enroll at the southern New Mexico family outreach center shall not be considered inmates or patients of nonmedical institutions as provided in Paragraph (1) of Subsection A of Section 27-2B-11 NMSA 1978."".

7. On page 3, line 1, insert a bracket before "rehabilitation".

8. On page 3, line 12, after "center" insert "shall be in Roswell and".

9. On page 3, line 15, strike "patient".

10. On page 3, line 15, after "setting" insert "to assist in

their transition into paid employment and self-sufficiency".

11. On page 3, line 17, strike "and".

12. On page 3, line 18, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof a semicolon.

13. On page 3, strike Subsection D in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following paragraphs:

"(4) job training;

(5) job readiness;

(6) parenting classes;

(7) money management classes; and

(8) life skills training.".

14. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.

15. On page 3, line 25, after "any" insert "qualified".

16. On page 4, line 2, before "disability" insert a space.

17. On page 4, line 6, after "treatment" insert a comma.

18. On pages 4 and 5, strike Sections 3 and 4 in their entirety.

19. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly
