AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SENIOR CITIZEN SERVICES IN CHAVES COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred sixty thousand dollars ($460,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state agency on aging for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of providing senior citizen services in Chaves county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
