MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND SERVICES FOR DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED PEOPLE IN CATRON, GRANT, HIDALGO AND LUNA COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred ninety-one thousand dollars ($691,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of continuing to fund a program providing early intervention and services for developmentally disabled children and adults in Catron, Grant, Hidalgo and Luna counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
