MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE FUNDING OF THE RIO GRANDE-RIO BRAVO BASIN PROGRAM 2000 SMITHSONIAN FOLKLIFE FESTIVAL.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred one thousand three hundred eighty-eight dollars ($101,388) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 by the southwest hispanic research institute of art for the purpose of funding the Rio Grande-Rio Bravo basin program 1999 Smithsonian folklife festival. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
