MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT OF THE NORTH AMERICAN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT INSTITUTE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of contracting with the Silver City-Grant county economic development corporation for operation of the North American Free Trade Agreement institute. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
