MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FAMILY RESOURCE SERVICES IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 to provide or contract for family resource services in Dona Ana county, including improvement of parenting skills, teaching of effective, culturally sensitive child-raising techniques and serving as a clearinghouse for data and referrals. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
