AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE DAYCARE SERVICES IN TOHATCHI IN MCKINLEY COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thirty thousand dollars ($230,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of providing daycare services for approximately ninety children of various ages in Tohatchi in McKinley county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
