AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SUPPORT CULTURAL HERITAGE EDUCATION AND TOURISM ACTIVITIES IN THE FOUR CORNERS AREA.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of contracting for support of a tourism, cultural heritage education and economic development effort in the four corners area. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
