AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO MEET INCREASING RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT CITIZEN REVIEW BOARDS STATEWIDE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seven thousand five hundred dollars ($107,500) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the courts for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of supporting the child abuse and neglect citizen review board program statewide in order to keep up with the increasing caseload. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
