AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE MIDDLE RIO GRANDE CONSERVANCY DISTRICT FOR A COOPERATIVE FIRE PREVENTION PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty-nine thousand dollars ($69,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the middle Rio Grande conservancy district for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for a cooperative fire prevention program in the Rio Grande bosque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
