MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO DISABLED AND ELDERLY CLIENTS NOT CURRENTLY BEING SERVED.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four million four hundred thousand dollars ($4,400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of providing services to approximately one thousand persons eligible for the medicaid waiver program for the disabled and elderly who are not currently receiving services due to insufficient funds. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
