MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING AND OPERATING A CENTER FOR ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of creating and operating a center for energy technologies at New Mexico state university in Dona Ana county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
