AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE ETHNOMUSICOLOGY EDUCATIONAL TRAINING PROJECT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of the division of continuing education and the Hispanic cultural center conducting an ethnomusicology educational training project for instructors and musicians statewide. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
