SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number _______ to HOUSE BILL 255, as amended

Amendment sponsored by Senator Joseph A. Fidel

1. Strike Senate Ways and Means Committee Amendment 2.

2. On page 4, strike lines 10 through 16.

3. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.

4. On page 5, line 19, after "council" strike the remainder of the line and strike all of lines 20 through 23 and insert in lieu thereof "or a post-secondary educational institution as the recipient of the money."".

5. On page 14, between lines 18 and 19, insert the following new section:

"Section 18. REPEAL.--Section 7-27-11.1 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1985 (1st S.S.), Chapter 15, Section 15) is repealed.".

6. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.
