MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO COMPLETE A STUDY TO DETERMINE THE NEED FOR A NORTHERN DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL IN THE BERNALILLO SCHOOL DISTRICT IN SANDOVAL COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of completing a study to determine if a need exists for an additional high school in the northern district of the Bernalillo school district in Sandoval county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
