AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ACQUIRE COMPUTER HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE TO IMPLEMENT A STUDENT DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM IN THE SANTA FE PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of acquiring computer hardware and software to implement a student data collection system in the Santa Fe public school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
