AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR IN-HOME CARE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS OF THE NAVAJO NATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-four thousand six hundred eleven dollars ($124,611) is appropriated from the general fund to the state agency on aging for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of contracting for provision of in-home care services to senior citizens of the Navajo nation living in New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
