AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR INCREASED AND EXPANDED SERVICES TO SENIOR CITIZENS IN CHAVES COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred forty-three thousand six hundred nine dollars ($243,609) is appropriated from the general fund to the state agency on aging for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 to provide increased and expanded services to senior citizens in Chaves county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
