Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 526

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 17, after "conduct" strike the remainder of the line, and strike lines 18 through 20 in their entirety, and on line 21, strike "project" and insert in lieu thereof "a pilot project for teacher compensation based on performance evaluations. The department shall seek no more than forty-five teachers from New Mexico public high schools who volunteer to participate in the pilot project".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
