RELATING TO STATE PARKS; PROVIDING FOR AN ANNUAL PASS FOR NEW MEXICO RESIDENTS; PRESCRIBING A FEE; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. STATE PARK ANNUAL LEGISLATIVE PASS.--
A. The state parks division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department shall sell an annual "legislative pass" to residents of the state that may be used for day use or camping at state parks and recreation areas. The legislative pass entitles the bearer to admission to all state parks and recreation areas for one year from the date of purchase. The legislative pass may be used for a maximum of fourteen days of camping in a single park or recreation area at any one time.
B. The fee for the legislative pass is one hundred fifty dollars ($150).
