MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION INSTRUCTION AND LIFE SKILLS TRAINING FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS THROUGHOUT NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the college of education to provide entrepreneurship education instruction and other related life skills training to elementary and secondary public school teachers throughout the state. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
