Your CORPORATIONS & TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. Strike item 2 of House Floor Amendment 1.

2. On page 1, line 11, strike "REDESIGNATING" and insert in lieu thereof "CREATING A DUAL DESIGNATION OF".

3. On page 1, line 17, strike "REDESIGNATION" and insert in lieu thereof "DUAL DESIGNATION".

4. On page 1, lines 22 through 24, strike "former United States route 66 signs and replace all state designation signs, excluding historic signs and markers, with signs" and insert in lieu thereof, "current New Mexico state highway designation signs on former United States route 66 and add a second designation sign".

5. On page 2, line 1, after "department" insert "shall add the secondary designation, "New Mexico Route 66" to all official maps of the state of New Mexico and", and strike "replacement" and insert in lieu thereof "addition".
