MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ASSIST PERSONS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six million eight hundred thousand dollars ($6,800,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 to provide services to persons with developmental disabilities who are eligible for developmental disability services through the department of health centralized registry waiting list. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
