AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY TO PROVIDE AFTER-SCHOOL SERVICES AND PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 to be used by the cooperative extension service for providing holistic after-school services and programs for youth. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
