MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN SAN JUAN COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of providing technical assistance on capital outlay projects to Navajo chapters located in San Juan county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
