AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR ELIGIBLE UNSERVED PERSONS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five million five hundred thousand dollars ($5,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of providing services to developmentally disabled persons not currently receiving these services under the state's developmental disabilities medicaid waiver program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
