MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR TWO SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE NATIONAL YOUTH SCIENCE CAMP.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five thousand dollars ($5,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico highlands university for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of paying for two scholarships for two student delegates to represent the New Mexico academy of science and attend the national youth science camp. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
