AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTINUE THE RE:LEARNING PROGRAM TO SUPPORT SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 to fund the Re:Learning education program to support school improvement in all grades of public school. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
